Settlement is the day the property officially changes hands. The balance of the purchase price is paid, the title transfers to the new owner, and the keys are released. In South Australia, most settlements now happen electronically through PEXA. We handle the calculations, adjustments and lodgement, and confirm the moment settlement is complete.
